Guest -and natural harbours in Askersund

Medevi Bridge
Ordinary landing stage with anchorage. No shower but earth closet and refuse bucket. There are 10 berths. No harbour due. Insufficient protection against strong west wind.
The area is beautiful and has many ancient monuments near Medevi Brunn. The old health resort lies within 20 minutes walking distance. Today there is bustling life with restaurants, shops, handicraft and entertainment. Last but not least you have the possibility to taste the healthy spring water and go for a walk every day in the summer.

Granvik Guest Harbour
Ordinary guest harbour in a beauty spot. 10 berths with power point. No shower or toilet but refuse bucket. Insufficient protection against strong wind. Harbour due 80 SEK. Rent a sauna 450 SEK. Ramble and canoeing in the area.

Aspa Guest Harbour in Olshammar
The harbour is taken care of by Aspa Boatclub. 15 berths with power point. Showers, toilets and refuse bucket at hand. Bikes for rent if you want to go shopping. Well equipped guest harbour with facilities in the immediate surroundings. Harbour due voluntarily but 100 SEK is recommended.

Within 5 minutes walking distance you´ll reach restaurant Olshammarsgården. There is also a museum on the author Verner von Heidenstam who lived here as a child. The Birgitta church is worth a visit. You can have guided tours in the summer.

Within 20 minutes walking distance you´ll find Aspa Mansion. You can anchor your boat by the mansion bridge but you are more exposed to the wind here, compared to Aspa guest harbour.

Bastedalen Harbour
Nice private harbour but no guest harbour. You may temporarily moor on the northern side of the steamboat bridge.

Vätternterassen
Small bridge with 10 berths. No guest harbour or due. Insufficient protection against strong wind from the south.
The hotel Vätternterassen is situated on a height with a magnificent view on the water. There is room for a couple of boats by the bridge. You can eat in the restaurant and if you want you can take a bath in a big barrel with heated water.

Åmmeberg Guest Harbour
Guest harbour with 10 berths and power point. Showers, toilets and refuse bucket. Good protection against all winds. Harbour due 100 SEK.

Kärraviken Harbour
It´s a guest harbour for members, situated in the middle of the golf course. Room for three boats during the day along the bridge. No guest harbour service, no due.

Askersund Guest Harbour
In the centre of the town with bustling life. Complete harbour service with showers, electricity and latrine emptying. 15 berths. Protected against all winds.
