You can get to Askersund either on foot, by car, bus, boat or bike!We have a buscentral close to the City. The nearest Trainstation is in Hallsberg (25 km north) or Laxå (25 km northwest). If you want to visit the National Park in Tiveden, the best way to get there is by car. You can also go by bus to Olshammar where the "Munkastigen" starts. This is part of an ancient path between the two convents Vadstena and Riseberga. Munkastigen connects on to Bergslagsleden, a system of hiking path within the region Närke.
